Planet Classification Scheme
- sub-Neptune: Any planet with R⊕ between 1.9 and 2.9. Otherwise...

- Low-mass sub-Neptune: M⊕ < 2 and R⊕ > 1.6
- Super-Earth: M⊕ < 10
- Neptune-like: M⊕ < 60
- Gas Giant: M⊕ < 300
- Brown Dwarf: M⊕ > 300
Unit Glossary
- R⊕: A unit for counting in Earth radii. Earth's radius is 6371 KM.
- M⊕: A unit for counting in Earth masses. Earth's mass is 5.9722 x 1024 kg.
